The Holy Roman Empire was still in existence and the Thirty Years’ War, which had ravaged the country, had only just ended. The map shows the central region of Germany, with Tauberbischofsheim, Wertheim, and Würzburg located centrally. It provides a glimpse into the geography and boundaries of the area during this period.
