Who we are
Our website address is: http://world-of-art-prints.com. See About Page. Visit also the Contact Page to get in touch.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website could potentially download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
We use numerous cookies on World of Art Prints and can provide a list displaying what they do. We do not share your personal information with any unauthorised third-parties. We simply track visits to the website, provide a checkout experience, deliver your item and allow you to login and either check the status of the order or leave a review. Other cookies gather which products you have already visited, for display to you in the footer, and we also have a Wishlist that allows you to share a collection of products on social networks, or for your own personal use. We run a newsletter which we ask you provide an email address. We do not sell any of this information, nor trade it in any way whatsoever.
Hi there, my name is Ciorsdan, and I’ve spent a lot of time making sure everything on my website works smoothly and securely. I’m happy to share this list of cookies and also provide you with the option to completely “opt out,” which was offered when you first visited the site. If you’d like to reset your choices, simply delete your cookies and revisit the site—this will prompt the cookie settings again.
I want to take a moment to reassure you, in a very human way, that although all this cookie and data talk can sound intimidating, there’s no need to worry. I’m not here to do anything harmful. All of your data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols, so it’s kept safe and secure.
A Note Regarding Necessary Cookies
When you visit the login page, a temporary cookie is set to check if your browser accepts cookies. It doesn’t contain any personal information and is discarded once you close your browser. Another marks what location you are from and what currency you probably want to see. Stripe is my payment gateway and it kicks in automatically and starts preparing for a secure sale. This is all necessary.
If you log in, the website will set up several cookies to save your login info and display preferences. The login cookies last for two days, and the screen option cookies for a year. If you choose “Remember Me,” your login will stay active for two weeks. Logging out will remove the login cookies.
If you edit or publish something on the site, an extra cookie will be stored in your browser. This one simply records the post ID of the article you edited and expires after 1 day. No personal data is stored here either.
I know this all sounds a bit technical, but I just want you to feel comfortable and confident that your privacy and security are taken seriously here. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me directly! I absolutely do not share or save your date with anyone other than service providers required to get the print to you or the framer. We take this seriously and the host who handle our website deploy industry standard 256-bit encryption technology, certified Level 1 PCI Compliant, that is the highest security standard available.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment (or review), the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
